We take pictures, study them and discuss them together in real time. Thus, analyzing the shots helps us determine whether or not they perfectly represent your personality. In doing so, we gradually adjust the style of the photoshoot.

At the end of the session, we take stock of the images. You select the ones you want to keep, according to your preferences.

The key to successful headshot photography is to keep jewelry to a minimum. Small earrings and simple necklaces work best. Voluminous jewelry and hoop-style curls are drawing too much attention.

Regarding your shirts / tops: Avoid overloaded patterns and favor dark or vivid colors.

If you wear eye-glasses and have more than one pair, please bring them to check their level of glare.

If you wear contact lenses, please take them off during the session.

Don’t hesitate to bring a diverse range of clothing. In most cases, 5-7 outfits are sufficient. Rule number 1: you must love what you wear! If you don’t feel comfortable in an outfit, don’t bring it.

Do you have any doubts about a garment? Bring it. Playing on layers is fantastic for an interesting look. You don’t have to respect the seasons. Everything can work: t-shirts, tank tops, sweaters, light jackets … Have fun!

Women’s makeup:

For the session, the make-up service is not mandatory but highly recommended for all women.

Makeup is applied specifically for the lighting we use. We usually start very naturally in order to give you a simple and very clean look. We retouch and make subtle changes to makeup as we shoot. If you want to start with a little more intense makeup, let us know: we will be happy to satisfy you.

If you prefer to do your makeup yourself, keep in mind that a headshot is a tight portrait, which amplifies the effect of your makeup.

Please opt for corrective makeup only and keep colors around your eyes to a minimum. If you are unsure of the quality of your mascara, we recommend that you do not use it.

Female hairstyle:

We ask that you come with the hair already styled the way you want it to appear. Your hairstyle should be as close as possible to your perfect appearance. Of course, our makeup artist will be present, if requested, to make sure everything is ready for the shoot. We’ll discuss what you’d like to do with it and establish a protocol at the start of filming.

Corrections for men:

Correction rework is recommended but not required. A lip balm is your best friend, especially during cold periods.
